How much does a website cost in 2026: real fixed prices
A professional website costs USD 400 to USD 900 when I build it: a starter website is USD 400 delivered in 7 days, and a full website or web app is USD 900 delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. A custom system starts at USD 2,500. For comparison, a US agency typically charges somewhere between USD 5,000 and USD 30,000 for the same scope, and freelancers in the US or Europe usually land between USD 1,500 and USD 10,000. Those market figures are approximate; mine are fixed and written down before we start.
What each price includes
The USD 400 starter covers a complete site: design, build, mobile version, contact form, and launch on your own domain. It fits a business that needs a serious presence fast.
The USD 900 tier covers a full website or a web app: more pages, custom features, integrations, whatever the project actually needs. Both tiers include 2 revision rounds, so you can react to the first version without renegotiating anything.
Custom systems, meaning software built around your operation, start at USD 2,500 and take 4 to 6 weeks. I have built that tier for SOMOS DER, an event production company with more than 150,000 attendees, including QR accreditation and a supplier portal with more than 1,000 registered people.
Why the ranges you find online are useless
Search “website cost” and you get articles saying USD 1,000 to USD 100,000. That range exists because most quotes are built backwards: the developer guesses what you can pay, then justifies it. What is billed separately
Domain and hosting are billed separately and registered in your name, not mine. That usually means USD 10 to 20 per year for the domain and often zero for hosting on modern infrastructure. You own everything from day one.
Optional extras have their own fixed prices: naming and domain from USD 50, brand identity from USD 300, idea and design from USD 200, measurement and analytics from USD 100, multi-language from USD 200 per language. After launch, maintenance runs USD 30 to 60 per month if you want it.
Why my prices are lower than US agencies
I work from Argentina. My costs are lower than a US or EU agency, my timezone overlaps the US working day almost completely, and I sell worldwide at fixed prices. You get agency-level output without paying agency overhead: no account managers, no office in an expensive city, no padding.

Why is this so much cheaper than a US agency?
Geography, not quality. An agency in Austin or Berlin has salaries and rent built into every quote. I run a one-person studio from Buenos Aires with US-overlapping hours, so the same build costs a fraction.
Are there hidden costs?
No. The quote you receive lists the fixed price, what it includes, and what is billed separately (domain and hosting, in your name). If you request something outside the scope later, it gets its own fixed price before I touch it.
What if I need changes after delivery?
Two revision rounds are included in every project. After launch, ongoing changes fall under maintenance at USD 30 to 60 per month, or a new fixed quote if it is a bigger feature.
